MUTABLES
In a spectacle constantly at risk of becoming outdated
Korhan Erel, Nicolas Wiese, and Min Yoon create experimental systems where they react in a speculative future. They are three international artists with different references of digital / analog / physical interactions and performance. With their unique combination of electronic sound, post/butoh dance, and analog/digital projections, they speculate on notions of future perception, memories, modes of human interaction in the virtual and analog worlds.
Nicolas Wiese – visual layers, projections
Korhan Erel – electronics, acoustics
Min Yoon – post/butoh dance
MUTABLES Trailer
Currently in process: a map symbolizing the digital worlds, where humans enter and dissolve. They move in the twilight between longing, threat, paranoia, mimesis, and psycho-social exploration. Plato's allegory of the cave meets cave graffiti cryptography, a message board that connects the stone-age with the digital future, back and forth.
